2010 Women Who Make A Difference Awards

Do you know of an extraordinary woman who goes above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of others?  Are YOU one of those women? Lakeside Bank’s 2010 Women Who Make a Difference Awards are just around the corner and two winners to honor have been selected.

This award coincides with Make a Difference Day. Created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, Make A Difference Day is the most encompassing national day of helping others – a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. Make A Difference Day is an annual event that takes place on the fourth Saturday of every October. For more information about Make a Difference Day visit www.makeadifferenceday.com. This award is presented each year to two women customers of Lakeside Bank. The objective of this award program is to recognize women who have made extraordinary contributions in the workplace (outside of their official job duties) and/or in their communities by going above and beyond – thus truly “making a difference” in the lives of others.

Prizes

Winners will be honored at a special awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 19th, 5:30 PM at Petterino’s Restaurant, 150 N. Dearborn. Each winner will win a $1,000 donation to the non-profit organization of her choice. In addition, winners will each receive an engraved Swarovski crystal vase, a bouquet of flowers, a framed invitation of the event, and a lovely Lakeside Bank gift bag full of goodies.

FREE “Bag of Swag” Sponsorship Opportunity

Do you have a giveaway to help promote yourself and/or your company?  This year we are calling our gift bag giveaway, the “Bag of Swag!”  The “Bag of Swag” Sponsorship Opportunity is FREE to everyone whom is interested in participating!  We hope to fill our bag with goodies everyone will enjoy and remember you and your company by!  

Please plan to include 275 of each of your company’s promotional giveaways that you would like to include in the bag given to each person in attendance that night.  Everyone enjoys a little goodie!
